For some players, GTA 5 is about the cars, boats, and planes. For others, it’s about the story, the gameplay, and the interactions with other characters. But for most die-hard Grand Theft Auto V fans (including us), it’s all about the weapons. So CheatCodes.com has put together the definitive list of all weapons available in GTA V.
Gta 5 Weapons Cheat Ps3 Tier 3 5
- Grand Theft Auto 5 Complete Weapons List Published on October 2, 2013, by Steve Jenkins - Posted in Game Help 0 For some players, GTA 5 is about the cars, boats, and planes.
- Grand Theft Auto 2 and 3 referenceIn the sports car heist mission, Franklin must get an old car called the Z-Type. That was the car driven by the Zaibatsu Corporation in GTA 2, and a luxury car in GTA 3. Grand Theft Auto 4 referencesBrucie Kibbutz from Grand Theft Auto 4 returns to Grand Theft Auto 5 on.
When selecting a weapon in-game, weapons stats are shown in the top right corner, including:
- Damage — how lethal is the weapon
- Fire Rate — how quickly it can fire additional rounds
- Accuracy — how easy it is to hit a target with this weapon
- Range — how far the weapon can effectively shoot
It’s also helpful to note that different weapons also have different noise profiles. Generally, the larger the weapon, the farther away it can be heard. Your radar will display a red circle when you fire a weapon, representing how far the weapon’s noise traveled. You could end up with an increase in your Wanted Level if a police officer happened to be inside the noise profile circle when you fired. But don’t worry, you can always use one of our cheat codes to bring your Wanted Level back down.
So if you’re ready to walk through the available weapons in Grand Theft Auto 5, off we go…

The standard edition of GTA V includes many different kinds of Weapons (the Special/Collector's Edition versions of the game come with an additional 3 weapons).
Free Assault SMG
[edit]
If you have linked your copy of GTA V with the Rockstar Social Club, you will receive a totally free Assault SMG with all attachments unlocked for all characters as soon as you enter an Ammu-Nation store.
Weapon information
[edit]
All firearms can be bought and customized; only 2 melee weapons can be bought from a store.
You must pass certain missions before purchasing weapons. An in-game email will alert each of your characters when new stock is available to buy. Almost all weapons can be obtained for free as you progress through the game and various side/story missions will give you a weapon and ammo.

Below are the various weapon types. Click one one of them to be taken to the page containing all the weapons and stats for each weapon!
The Pistol .50, Bullpup Shotgun, and Hammer are exclusive to the Special/Collector's Edition of GTA V.

They can be bought at Ammu-Nation after a certain point in the game, are acquired through some story/side missions and can also be found commonly at gas stations around Los Santos.
